Guided Wave Analysis LLC (GWA) provides level I and level 2 guided wave UT / long range UT training courses to inspectors and NDT personnel in oil & gas companies, refineries, chemical plants, petrochemical plants, or offshore pipeline facilities. Participants will be trained to do field testing with MsS guided wave testing system, to do data analysis, and to understand the capability and limitation of guided wave testing technology.

These guided wave UT training courses are designed to provide important physical background knowledge on guided wave testing method. Participants will practice on installation of probes on test pipelines, and operating software for data acquisition, analysis, and generating inspection report. They will also learn about cut-off frequency and proper frequency selection for guided wave inspection, effect of geometric features on guided wave testing.

The GWUT/LRUT training courses will be taught and led by Dr. Sang Kim who is Level III in guided wave ultrasonic testing (GWUT) method and ASNT NDT Level III in UT and ET. He has been researching and developing technologies in NDT field for last 35 years. He also has been training NDT professionals and consulting inspection companies for 25 years. He has abundance of knowledge and field experience on guided wave testing method.
